Inkang Kim was born in South Korea and encountered Jesus Christ in his first year at university. He obtained his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. He has been teaching and doing mathematical research for more than 20 years in universities and various research institutes around the world. He has published more than 50 mathematical papers in professional academic journals and gives talks in international mathematical conferences. He is currently a professor at Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) School of Mathematics in South Korea.
Kim is actively involved in various evangelism activities, including Christian writing, and playing music. He is married with 2 children.
