Barbara White Hege professed her faith in Christ while she was still a child. A lifelong resident of upper North Carolina, she has served as the Chairman of Christian Women's Club and as an area representative and speaker for Stonecroft Ministries. Encouraged by friends to write, God laid on her heart the book, “Consequences of Divorce,” which talks about how her parents’ divorce affected her life and faith in Christ. She and her husband Bob have one daughter, Lisa, two granddaughters, Rachel and Anna, and one great-granddaughter, Riley. They reside in Greensboro, where she attends Friendly Avenue Baptist church and serves in the prayer ministry. A favorite Scripture of hers is Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding."
