Dee grew up in a religiously conservative family and was baptized at an early age. In high school, he came face-to-face with a 500 pound giant sea bass 100 feet deep in the Pacific Ocean. He snorkeled in the coral reefs looking for game fish amongst the sharks and moray eels. As an adult he flew jets at 40,000 feet, faster than the speed of sound, and performed aerobatics at 600 miles per hour. He taught school and was able to influence the minds of children. He found his passion in engineering design and construction where he worked for 35 years. Along the way the Lord introduced him to his perfect mate. They had two little girls who grew up to be strong, powerful and loving women. He is also fortunate to have a wonderful granddaughter. He continued to be active with mountain hiking, sailing, woodworking and bicycling.

God called Dee to be His follower at a very young age. He got up and followed Him immediately. He has walked with God all of his life but it was not until his mid-60s that God showed him the power of the Gospel to change his life. God showed him how to walk with him, become close to him and become one with him. He was shown to write this message down and share it with others. Dee has lived in six different states and the country of Panama. He now writes from Riverside, California.
