Mike Gilles was employed by Michigan Tech University for thirty-five
years writing and negotiating contracts for industrial funded university
research projects. For several years, Mike shared preaching
responsibilities with two other Elders at Grace Christian Fellowship, a
church he helped establish in Calumet, Michigan. The title of his book
came to him while watching an episode of a television series based on
the British Royal Family. The prince’s mother asked him, “How is your
faith?” He answered, “It is dormant.” She said, “Let this be a Mother’s
gift to her child; find yourself some faith; it helps… no, it’s more
than that. It is everything.”
